Come, Jesus, Come: Making Advent Altars

November 28 and December 5, 1:00-2:30.

This is a two-part workshop. Please plan to attend both parts.

Anyone can do this spiritual practice! Just bring your imagination and curiosity. Limited to 15 participants.

In this 2 part workshop (Nov 28 and Dec 5), you are invited to create a personal advent altar, combining found images with your own sacred intention. This is an easy yet profound process that is both personal and shared in community.

You will need several magazines, books, picture calendars, old Christmas or birthday cards to cut and tear images from and any other images or photos you might like to use (photocopies work well). Don’t try to plan ahead, just bring images to use and to share.

All other materials will be provided

 for a fee of $5, payable to the office by Nov 22 

(include your name and mark envelope-attention Kathleen Barber).
